Due to language barriers, farmers are unable to assess the quality of the products they purchase, and suppliers cannot reach buyers who would trust them.
Connecting Two Markets
SGST was founded to fill this gap. They needed an advertisement that would serve the same purpose as they did: to speak directly to the MENA market and represent European suppliers, thereby building credibility and trust.
Results
The commercial was originally filmed in Arabic, featuring a voice-over artist with an accent characteristic of the target region. The script took cultural specifics into account, hence the deliberate choice to give it a credible and official tone. This helped the company attract a larger number of potential customers compared to its previous approach of networking.
